Our Homeschool Method:

We are following the Robinson Curriculum method, with a few tweaks to better suit our learning goals.

Since our homeschool has a classical bent with a focus on the 3 r’s, I have added curriculum to insure mastery.

In addition to our first edition Saxon math curriculum, we will be using Primary Mathematics workbooks.

We will be following the progymnasmata method of composition and adding to it a gentle yet solid grammar curriculum.

History and science will be included in Atoms reading time and will be pursued leisurely.

Our Homeschool Schedule:

Since Atom is not yet ready to work independently, he will have 5 hours of instruction time 6 days a week.

We school year round so this approach will allow us to take a week long school break every sixth week as well as the summer months off.

We will be following this schedule recommended by the Robinson Curriculum

7:00-9:00- Mathematics instruction

9:00-10:00-Writing Instruction

10:00- 12:00- Reading Instruction
